Presently City Manager for the City of Marianna, since March 2008. Born in Apalachicola, FL and graduated from Marianna High School in 1977.

Nearly 20 years of commercial, and government lending experience with the United States Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Farm Credit.

Prior to becoming City Manager for the City of Marianna, the Area Director for Rural Development covering an eleven-county area, in the panhandle of Florida. While with Rural Development served as the Assistant State Director for USDA, Rural Development, in Gainesville. Twenty (20) years of working with rural Cities and Counties across the State of Florida assisting with economic and community development financial assistance.

While earning degrees in Business Agriculture and Business Administration served seven (7) years in the United States Marine Corps from 1980 to 1988.

Presently serve on a number of boards:

  • Local transportation authority, JTrans
  • Sunland Community Advisory Board under the State of Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD)
  • Board of Directors for Farm Credit of Northwest Florida
  • Board of Trustees Chipola College
