A graduate of Furman University and the American International School of Johannesburg (South Africa), Monty brings an international perspective and a strong focus on business analysis, database development and project management to the Global Location Strategies team.

Since joining GLS, he has consulted on projects with an estimated capital investment of over $8.8 billion and new direct employment of 3,000. He has executed projects across the globe spanning the Americas to the Far East, managing the GLS team with an array of site selection, incentive negotiation, business analysis and economic development consulting assignments.

Monty focuses on heavy industrial clients with exotic infrastructure requirements as well as life science investments and advanced materials. His clients have included both domestic and international companies looking to invest within the United States and abroad.

Before joining GLS, Monty worked in marketing and sales with Dunlop Sports Group Americas in the North American headquarters, developing marketing databases and support programs, conducting research, and supporting day-to-day logistics and operations.
